Here are some summer happenings in Hood River:
July 18, 2009- Custom Car Show with the Ring Kings This will be held from 7:00am to 3:00pm at the WAAAM-Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum located off Tucker Rd. Come see classic, hot rod and custom cars from all over the Northwest.
July 22-25, 2009- 83rd Annual Hood River County Fair
Bring your kids to the County Fair. There will be carnival rides, displays, food, booths, animals, flowers, exhibits, music and entertainment on each day. The Hood River County Fair is located 6 miles south of Hood River in the small town of Odell.
August 8-31, 2009- Van Gogh Days This will be held at Rasmussen Farms located south of Hood River at 3020 Thomsen Rd. This begins the weekend of August 8-9th and continues throughout August. Come enjoy over 50 varieties of bright blooming sunflowers in huge flower gardens.
